South Bay Little League - (FALL 2022)

No Refunds will be offered after teams are formed and practice begins for the 2022 FALL SEASON. No refunds will be issued for situations out of our control (pandemic, natural disasters etc.).

All COVID 19 Safety Protocols put in place by the league must be followed by players, parents, spectators and volunteers per the local health mandates.

Note: Starting 11/15/2022 Sports Connect will start assessing a $3 (non-refundable) transaction fee. It will be added at checkout. REGISTRATION CLOSES ON 8-20-2022 .

Welcome to South Bay Little League FALL BALL 2022 Registration!

Prior to registering please check to ensure that you are registering in the correct Little League. You may use the Little League finder link below to verify that you are within boundary for South Bay Little League:

If you do not live within South Bay Little League boundaries, but your child attends one of the following schools: Valle Lindo Elementary, Palomar Elementary, Otay Elementary, Loma Verde Elementary, Rohr Elementary, or Castle Park Middle. You are eligible to use a school waiver to play at South Bay Little League.

The link to the waiver is below. Please take it to your school and have the administration complete it. It can then be turned in during Residency Verification link to school.

To Register: For Fall Ball It is only in person registration. 2022.
Step 1: Register by clicking the "Register Now" button. You can then log in if you are an existing user or create an account if you are a new to our league. Note: If you are unsure what division your child should be in you can click "Register Now" on any division. The system will then automatically default to the available divisions per the player's birth date once all the information is entered.

Step 2: Complete all required information and pay the registration fee(s). You will receive a confirmation from Blue Sombrero upon successful completion of registration.

Step 3: Complete Age and Residency Verification. Note: In person Age and Residency Verification must be completed by parent or guardian in order for your child to be placed on a team. Verification will be at our South Bay Little League fields (Dates TBD).

Note: Per Little League International regulations only original birth certificates can be accepted and presented to verify age. One document from each category listed is required from the link above to verify residency (4 total documents-includes original birth certificate).

Players in our Minor B, Minor A and Majors Division will also need to attend assessments in January. More information regarding assessments will be sent out via email and posted on our website at a later time.

Please note: Our Challenger Division is for our differently abled players. Those players not needing extra support should register in one of the other age appropriate divisions. Challenger Division does not require age/residency verification.

South Bay Little  League was started in 1958 by a handful of families that wanted to provide their children a safe place to play the best game created! 60 years later, the intention is still the same, to teach our kids to have fun, respect the game and develop real world life skill sets.

CHALLENGER DIVISION of SOUTH BAY LITTLE LEAGUE

 

The Little League Challenger Program is Little League’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and developmental challenges,

 

When our children gather to participate in Sports, they are practicing socialization, learning from each other, and making friendships that will last into their adulthood.

 

We will be taking registration for Special Needs Players for our Challenger Division, ages 5-18 and our Senior Challenger Division, ages 15 – adult.

Saturday/Sabado Feb 5, 12, 19    10:00 – 11:30 am

 

REGISTRATION FEE: $50 (includes uniform shirt, uniform hat, and picture fees)

INSCRIPCIÓN: $50 (Incluye camisa de uniforme, gorro, y fotos)
